The 2 Acorn Barlow Special

A pocketslip protects your knife from other pocket contents and helps a knife to sit comfortably in the pocket.

My slips are made from semi-rigid, saddle-grade leather.  They retain your knife securely, even when inverted, but release the knife readily with a gentle squeeze.  Like a well-made traditional slipjoint knife, these slips have a very satisfying action.

This slip features a hand-carved oak leaf and acorn vignette. Each cut and impression is made with hand-ground stamps and swivel-knives sourced from America's last artisan leather tool makers.    The slip is cut, tooled, dyed, antiqued, and stitched by hand.

The back of the slip features a Petal Box stamp from Wayne Jueschke of Elko, Nevada, and a Double Seedrow border stamp from Barry King of Sheridan, Wyoming.  The dye colors are Black and Natural with hand-painted red highlights.  Red thread.

Size Medium: A perfect fit the GEC 86 2 Acorn Barlow that inspired it and a good fit for most other medium size slipjoints from closed lengths 3 5/8 to 4" such as GEC 12, 35, 47, 72, 73, 74, 85, 92, etc and Jack Wolf Knives Sharpshooter, Laid Back, Midnight, etc.  PLEASE CONTACT ME with any fit questions.  Remember, TIGHT IS RIGHT.  These slips start tight and naturally mold to your knife over time.
